Addiction Treatment at GATS is not free unfortunately as Government Policy in Australia does not generally support "Abstinence Based Treatment", or wholistic approaches to treatment of this complex disease.
GATS is and has been totally client funded from day one, and at times GATS has chosen to treat some individuals with out or with very little payment. This has been because people are sometimes so much in crisis that they cannot afford the GATS Program, and they have tried the government services without much success. Some individuals need this type of addiction and codependency treatment but cannot afford it.

GATS has had a policy of assisting with this issue whenever possible. Unfortunately because of the success of the program we are inundated with many clients, however also many who can not afford to pay for their treatment, but who desperately need this type of recovery and help. Sadly, as with all business GATS can no longer continue to support individuals who cannot pay as this can financially retard this program. 

As a result we have decided that a sponsorship fund be set up for disadvantaged individuals who desperately need the GATS program. We are putting out our hand to any generous individuals, groups, or organisations who would be kind and compassionate enough to make a donation to this sponsorship fund.

We will accept donations from $10 and upwards. Payments can be made via cash, creditcards, cheque or money order.
